Welcome to the iBike family! It has been a ten-year joyride to assist our visitors in the discovery of Tulum’s natural beauties while utilizing a vehicle that is fun, safe and environmentally friendly. 

iBike was born in February of 2012, thanks to Ludvine Meza and Arturo Ramírez, our founding fathers who had a dream of a beach-town with free mobility and accessibility available for each visitor, and the guarantee of receiving assistance and guidance while discovering the most surprising and hidden spots in Tulum.

Since day one, Arturo and Ludvine aimed to be the best bike-rental company, and they succeeded. They created a team of friendly and well-trained staff, and installed their own bike repair shop to ensure the safety and proper functioning of the vehicles. Up to this day, iBike is the only rental service in town that offers such an advantage to its customers. 

During our first years we only had bicycles for rent, but as our business keeps growing alongside the sprawl of Tulum, today we offer three different types of bicycles and three options for motorbike rentals: Scooter, Moped, and Vespa models to be utilized for transportation within Tulum, either for personal use or for guided tours of selected places. Throughout the years we have focused on offering an excellent service that includes useful information. We want to be that friend who will guide you as you move through Tulum feeling confident and free.

We are a great team

This is how our family was born, a life project which includes Iván at the front desk, welcoming our customers with a big smile and the best attitude to help you out as you seek for the best spots in Tulum. Another good friend who became an important member of the iBike family is Erik, who is in charge of delivering your bike to the door of your preferred accommodation, and making sure that all of our vehicles are in a permanent state-of-the-art condition. He is aware of the importance of time and the value of each moment, as there are so many activities to enjoy here in the Mexican Caribbean. 

At the iBike headquarters the most important area isn’t the kitchen, instead, it’s the place where we care for and give service to our bicycles and motorbikes. The mechanical workshop is tidy and well equipped, it is managed by Chui and Chiquis who invest their talents to repair, paint, and bring all of the vehicles to top conditions so they are always ready to take our customers around in search for new adventures. In order for you to get to know the rest of the family, we would like to introduce Osba, Alexis, Jona, Maiki, Pau and Dani, our online sales and communications team. They help us get closer to our customers by offering valuable information and establishing contact through all the different media platforms in a cheerful way.

We are a great family, each of us with different qualities. We enjoy helping our customers and we support each other in keeping our bikes tidy and in the best possible conditions, we have fun while doing this and we are aware of how much you cherish your time while on holidays.
